| Description |
The Workspace is a high quality hand made workshop and every feature sets the building apart from others. A lock and key is also provided. The framing is a mighty 44mm square, significantly larger than even our standard framing giving the building immense strength. The doors are fully framed and braced and they are fitted with a full length piano hinge for added security. The high grade 12mm shiplap cladding provides much improved weather proofing and longevity. The internal working height is 6 feet at the eaves making for a really comfortable working environment for the vast majority; again this is significantly higher than much of the cheaper competition. Both roof and floor are of tongued and grooved pine and the floor has close spaced bearers for added support. The two opening windows are storm resistant, joinery quality frames glazed with 3mm glass. All of the timber is sourced only from very slow grown, high grade, FSC approved, European pine. The building is treated with a basecoat treatment ready for top coating by you immediately after installation. (Imperial dimensions are approximate to the nearest foot). Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Delivery InformationThis product is custom made and manufactured to order, the overall delivery estimate for manufacture and delivery is approximately 14 weeks. Please be aware the delivery timescale for this product at the basket stage is incorrect as it does not take into account the manufacture lead time of this custom made product and the above lead time shall apply for this product specifically.This product is delivered directly by our approved supplier on a standard delivery service with the utmost care. Deliveries are scheduled once your order has been placed and are to the kerbside or driveway if easily accessible, note the customer must be present for delivery. Please note, if you also order products that are not Shire branded, they may arrive on a different day due to the products be sent from a different warehouse and courier.
