From the newest of breeding, they are classified as 'Multiflora', meaning they produce hundreds of smaller flowers in summer and autumn, filling up gaps in beds and borders with a floriferous display.
Tried and tested in commercial landscape plantings where they get almost no maintenance or help, they form neat mounds of flowers, and have good disease resistance, so really are easy care. One trim back hard each spring before they start growing really is all they need, plus a couple of feeds a year. Simple!
