Finalist for 2019 B&LLA Licensing Awards and Winner of the Cultural Enterprise Award 2020. This masterpiece was created as a three panel painting and is the only one remaining by the great Florentine and Michelangelo. This image shows Christ's body being carried to his tomb which is quite iconic. In the painting, Saint John the Evangelist may be the figure on the left who is carrying Christ's body on strips of winding cloth, that's helped by one f the Three Mary's. They seem to be carrying up a staircase to his tomb which is positioned in the rocks. Our florists have taken inspiration from the textured and bold colours in this painting and have used Naranja Rose, Cafe Del Mar Roses, Naomi deep red Roses, Soft Peach Roses, Fresh Rosemary, Natural Birch, Copper Ruscus, Dark Copper Eryngium and Cinerea Eucalyptus in this stunning hatbox arrangement.
