Planting Instructions:The perfect solution to planting bulbs with the minimum of fuss and disturbance to other plants in your borders.Simply fill the bulb basket with soil or compost and evenly space the bulbs to the recommended planting distance, gently pushing the bulbs in to the soil to just cover the base.Dig a hole in your border or in your container to the correct depth, place the basket then replace the soil. Your bulbs will now send their roots through the basket base and grow as normal. After flowering just lift the baskets and store until all the green growth has died back, keep moist and feed to help next year's flowering. A variety of clematis tangutica, 'Little Lemons' is a compact plant with a neat, bushy habit and nodding, bright-lemon flowers. Flowering from May to September this dwarf clematis has been bred to be less sprawling than other varieties, so is perfect for growing in a pot or basket, where it makes a really unusual and visually stunning statement. When not in flower, its bright green foliage makes the perfect foil for its fluffy seed heads (commonly known as old man's beard), extending its season of interest into the autumn. An award-winning clematis, it's the perfect plant for those new to gardening - 'Little Lemons' is very easy to grow and look after, just needing a swift haircut to six inches above ground level in spring. It's very hardy too, so doesn't need to be cosseted over winter - you can just leave it alone. Supplied as an established plant in a 7cm pot, ready for immediate planting. Plants will grow to around 45cm (18in).

A brand new innovation for gardeners, these new Basket Starter Discs are a great option for easy gardening. The first time ever an easy solution for using beneficial microbes has been available for hanging baskets or tubs - and combined with fertiliser and water retaining gel in one simple to use disc. Created by the clever scientists that have pioneered Rootgrow, these discs are formed from compressed coir fibre, which binds in both beneficial biological microbes, and balanced slow release fertiliser -giving the perfect start to all hanging baskets, planters, tubs and windowboxes. Inserted at planting, when watered each disc swells to 5 times it's size, and the beneficial microbes will start to grow, bringing the compost to life and adding all the benefits of the natrual good microbes in the soil to the confines of a basket or tub. At the same time, the fertilsier is slowly released over several months, to give the perfect start to your plants. In addition, the water retaining crystals help prevent the compost from drying out by binding water in, reducing the amount of time and effort watering in summer. To use, half fill your basket or planter with compost, insert a disc and cover with a little more compost and plant as normal.
