'Hidcote' is one of the most aromatic varieties, grown widely in the fragrance market, yet is a great garden variety too. The purple flowers are also a magnet to bees, butterflies, and other beneficial creatures, which will have your garden buzzing with wildlife - literally!  Growing up to 60cm tall, a hedge of traditional English lavender can be used in many ways. Try planting it around beds, borders, or paths, to divide up parts of your garden or to make an eye-catching parterre or knot garden space plants 30cm apart. Once established, a lavender hedge is extremely drought tolerant. Keep it in great shape by pruning twice a year; trim lightly in mid to late summer, removing spent flower heads. Prune again in early spring, removing about 2.5cm of growth. You can even cut the stems to make fragrant indoor dried displays! Supplied as an established plants in a 2L pot, ready to plant.

It's no coincidence that the traditional festive colours of green and red just so happen to be the very two colours that this hardy tree are decked with over the coldest and dullest months of the year. With this easy-care evergreen shrub, you will have year-round interest too. It can be grown in pots as it is slow growing and very hardy - everyone can make space in thier garden for some holly! Holly forms an almost perfect pyramid of glossy, spiky leaves with vivid red berries on pollinated female plants. It's ideal too as a hedging plant where its prickly form provides ample deterrent against intruders. Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come. It's also recommended by the RHS as a Plant for pollinators so will attract wildlife into your garden. Supplied as a plug-grown sapling 20-25cm from end to end, ready for immediate planting, your holly may reach 12m high x 8m wide, but can easily be controlled by pruning.
