Please see description below for full product details. These top-quality, 'Professional Standard' fruit trees mean you can now grow full-sized crops in your garden or even in pots on your patio and have your first harvest in the first year. The crop will increase year on year, eventually giving you hundreds of pounds of produce per season and costing literally pennies per lb over their long life of over 50 years. They are 'self-fertile' and grown on 'dwarfing' rootstocks so they will pollinate themselves and always be compact. Growing fruit tress enhances the well-being of the environment and that of you and your family. Crops of fresh, heathy fruit right on your doorstep while replenishing the tree population and reducing plastic consumption. Supplied as 1.2m tall, grower quality, multi-branched 'bare root' trees. Grown on semi-dwarfing professional rootstocks. Varieties Included: 'Braeburn' Apple, 'Conference' Pear and 'Victoria' Plum.Top Tips- Soak rootball overnight before planting and keep well watered - especially Spring planting- Get trees established well in first year for earlier and bigger crops in future.Care Guide- Once established, apples and pears need very little care. Water during dry spells especially if newly planted or in containers.- In early spring, sprinkle a general fertiliser around the base of the tree.- Apples & pears should be pruned every year. Timing and method of pruning depends on the type of fruit you are growing, and the style of tree.- Plum trees will additionally need to have fruit thinned to ease congestion and weight on the branches.- Your crop of plums can be greatly increased by regular feeding and watering. Because they can set heavy crops, plums respond well to fertilisers, especially nitrogen.- Established trees can be mulched in mid-spring to help retain soil moisture, suppress weeds, and provide nitrogen.- Pruning should be carried out in spring or summer - avoid pruning in the dormant season or in mid to late autumn, as there is risk of infection from silver leaf disease and bacterial canker.Planting Time:October - AprilFlowering Time:April - MayFruiting Time:July - OctoberAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire. Pair of Italian Cypress Trees 60-80cm Tall
  • £14.99

This product is offered for sale for home delivery exclusively via our website only. The images represent established plants, the supplied product may be younger. All heights listed are approximate and fully established plant heights may vary. The amount of foliage, buds or bloom on the plant will depend on what part of the season the product is purchased. Please see description below for full product details.Add a touch of Mediterranean class to your garden. Seen all over Italy, these spectacular architectural conifers will add height and year-round interest wherever you plant them. With their elegant, pencil thin form, they'll look simply stunning framing a door or gateway, or in a terracotta pot. Trees and hedging plants are a great way to create natural borders and screens in your garden. They can blend in with the garden and provide a little bit of privacy as well. Supplied as a pair of Italian Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens Pyramidalis) trees in 14cm diameter pots.Top Tips- For best shape, remove any fircones that form, and keep supported for 2 years until establishedCare Guide- Plant your cypress trees where they can get full sun and in well-drained soil. If using a container, a sol based potting compost is ideal.- Dig a planting hole larger than the root ball of the cypress tree and add organic matter into the hole. We recommend the use of mycorrhizal fungi when planting.- Place the tree into the hole and backfill, ensuring that the stem is at the same level as when it was in the pot. Press the soil firmly around the base of the tree’s trunk.- Water thoroughly. You need to water the tree regularly for the first two growing seasons. Once established, this tree is drought tolerant. Container plants will need regular watering.- After first planting, mulch with 2-3 inches of organic matter to retain moisture in the soil and prevent competition from weeds.- Annual maintenance is easy, simply check for any damaged or dead growth and prune as necessary.Planting Time:February - OctoberAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire. A well-known and popular evergreen shrub, Laurus Nobilis (Sweet Bay) is a multipurpose garden plant which is totally at home both planted in the ground or presented in a pot!
