Description |
Bark is most widely used as a mulch for beds and borders to suppress weeds, reduce the amount of watering required and act as a blanket to insulate the soil below, therefore protecting the roots from frost and equally shading the soil below from the sun during hot weather, such as during a heatwave.
Attractive mid/dark brown colour
Conifer bark, predominantly spruce
Durable and long lasting
Sustainable Source
Free of pests and weed seeds
White wood, normally within 15% of total volume
Due to the nature of the product and screening process, occasionally oversized pieces of wood may occur, but these can easily be removed at the time of installation.
Bark is a natural product so the appearance of the product may vary slightly from the images shown.
General-use coverage: 1 bulk bag = approx. 10-12m² at a depth of 50mm.
Bulk Bag: approx. 0.6m³ when packed
