Create a cosy atmosphere in your outdoor space with this eye-catching solar powered lantern. Shaped like a traditional lantern, you can blend this light with either traditional or contemporary surroundings. Easy to hang or can be placed on a table or ledge. Material: plasticApproximate size: 14 x 14 x 35cmDIRECTIONS OF USE: Before first use, it is advised that the solar light is charged for a full day with good levels of sunlight. 1) On the underside of the base of the lantern, set the switch to ON. 2) Place the solar light in a position with strong, direct sunlight that will allow the solar panel to charge for at least 6 hours. 3) Ensure that the solar light isnt positioned near other night-time light sources as this may cause the light to be dim or not turn on at all. PRECAUTION: Ensure that the solar panel is kept clean to allow for optimal charging of the battery. In winter months, it is advised that the solar light is turned off and stored in a dry, frost-free environment. REPLACING THE BATTERY: Remove the battery housing cover to access the battery. Battery specification: 1 x AA 1.2v 300mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery. DO NOT USE NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES IN THIS PRODUCT. WARNING: This product is designed for decorative purposes only. This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach children and animals. Insertion and removal of batteries should be done under adult supervision. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Ensure that batteries are inserted with the correct polarity as indicated on the product. Do not mix new and old batteries or different battery types. Used batteries should be disposed of responsibly and not via municipal waste or by fire as they may leak or explode.
