You will get 2 different varieties of fruit from 1 tree so are perfect for anyone who loves the idea of picking their own home-grown fresh fruit but has limited space. Each of the varieties will produce bumper crops of delicious full-sized fruit. Because they are already trained into a V shape, they are perfect for growing up a wall. Growing fruit tress enhances the well-being of the environment and that of you and your family. Crops of fresh, heathy fruit right on your doorstep while replenishing the tree population and reducing plastic consumption. Supplied as a bare root, grower quality tree, grafted on a single rootstock with 2 named plum varieties.Top Tips- Add Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi to give your plants a head start and establish faster.Care Guide- Apply a slow-release fertiliser such as blood fish and bone in early spring, and mulch to retain moisture.- Drape netting over cherry trees to protect the fruit from birds.- Water regularly, and don't let the soil dry out if planted in pots.- Stone fruit should not be pruned during winter, to minimise the risk of infection - early summer is the ideal time. Established trees don't require radical pruning, just take off any diseased, dying and damaged branches, (the three Ds). Look at the overall shape and aim for an open structure of branches and remove any that cross over so they don't damage each other.- Hang wasp traps in trees and harvest crops as soon as they ripen.
