Also known as Fishbone Prayer Plant, Ctenanthe has wonderful oval leaves up to 30cm long. These are beautifully patterned two-tone grey-green on the top, with an underside of rich deep maroon. A perfect focal point in a bright area of your home. Related to Calathea, Ctenanthe shares the fascinating and unusual feature of leaves that close upwards as if in prayer when light levels fall. Beautiful to look at, these leafy tropical houseplants also help to clean the air in your home.
