Ready to pick from October each year, each pear from this 'Buerre Hardy' tree is wonderfully sweet and juicy. With its lovely rustic looking, it produces irresistible green pears that are tinged in reddish brown. 'Beurre' is a great variety to grow, this is thanks to its heavy cropping and wonderful fruits. If picked just before they are ripe, these pears will keep well for two months and are fantastic eaten raw but also delicious when cooked. Supplied as an established tree grown on dwarfing M9 rootstock, 90-110cm (3 ft) tall in an 18cm pot, growing to a height and spread of 1.5m (5 ft).
