Exceptionally mild, and sweeter than most other varieties, there isn't a hint of bitterness or peppery flavour. It's easy to see why it has been given the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Easy to grow and reliable, this long-harvesting type has good resistance to mildew so you can be sure they will stay fresh on the plant for months. The buttons can be picked long into January or even February in optimal weather conditions.
