Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' AKA the Snowball Tree, is a bushy, deciduous shrub with striking blooms and lobed, maple-like leaves that turn fiery shades of red and purple in the autumn. Most noted for its voluminous clusters of flowers, this viburnum bursts into bloom from early May, becoming a mass of green-tinted white snowball flowers which become flushed with pink as they age. Unlike the more common Guelder Rose, fruits are not produced as the flowers of the Snowball Tree are sterile, however the show of spring and autumn colour more than makes up for this - plus the flowers are just perfect for cutting and bringing into your home. Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, robust and vigorous, and guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come. Supplied as an established plant in a 17cm pot, ready for immediate planting. Will reach approx. 4m x 4m and is perfect for a flowering hedge or as a specimen plant in borders. Flowers May - June

A real gem for winter gardens, producing long lasting floral displays from late October through winter into spring. Clusters of really fragrant, pale to deep pink, long-lasting flowers just seem to keep going and going in winter! A compact shrub at 2.5m tall or so after 10 years, it is easy to manage, and very hardy once established. Some flowers may get frost damage in extreme cold, but new ones appear quickly, and the plant is unharmed. Preferring a sunny spot, it can be grown in large pots. Because of its stunning fragrance and winter displays, plant it close to where you can smell it and see it regularly!
An unusual variety of viburnum, the delightful, pink-flushed buds of 'Eskimo' open from mid spring to reveal pure white flowers in dense, snowball-shaped, mophead clusters. These contrast beautifully with the semi-evergreen leaves that clothe the plants for most of the year. Lightly fragrant when in bloom, the compact size of this pretty garden shrub makes it an ideal candidate for containers so that you can move it around your garden or patio to fully enjoy its scent. The gorgeous blooms are followed by red fruits that gradually turn black and the glossy, dark green will transition through red, orange and yellow in a kaleidoscope of colour in the autumn giving you months of garden interest. Eskimo makes a truly spectacular addition to your garden and will more than earn its keep! Fashioned by our expert growers into a beautiful standard tree with a lollipop head, Eskimo is ideal in sunny beds and borders where it will create a striking feature tree. You might know Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum by its more common name, Japanese Snowball Bush. It's easy to see where this name comes from when, in May and June, the plant bears impressive, white flowers. However, this hardy shrub is perhaps most famous for its tiered foliage. Its green, heart-shaped leaves look lovely at the back of sunny borders throughout the summer, but come into their own in the autumn when they turn spectacular shades of red and purple. Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum is therefore a great addition to cottage, woodland and wildlife gardens in need of some added, late season interest. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 2m (8').
This wonderfully-shaped shrub rises up like Mount Kilimanjaro with a glorious pyramidal habit, upon which, tiers of branches bear clusters of pure white lacecap flowers in early summer. Autumn sees the leaves turn shades of orange and red with the added bonus of red berries for winter colour. Supplied in 19cm pots.
Combining four distinct periods of garden interest in one easy-to-grow hardy shrub, 'Kilimanjaro Sunrise' looks lovely as a specimen plant in a mixed border or a grassy area. Awarded the Best New Plant at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2015, 'Kilimanjaro Sunrise' erupts into flower, with tiered layers of white lacecap blooms in April and May - giving rise to its occasionally used common name of the Wedding Cake Tree. These pretty white flowers age to a lovely blush pink, often with many overlapping tones on the plant at once. This is followed in summer by bright red berries, which help feed the birds and other wildlife, before it surprises you again with a smaller autumn reflowering. Then, in a final blaze of glory, its leaves turn to fiery bright red-purple in autumn before falling. Supplied as an established plant in a 3L pot, ready to plant, growing to a height of 2.5m (8ft) and spread of 1.5m (5ft) after 7-10 years.
