Introduced in 2019, this beautiful perennial soon became one of our favourites. As soon as we first saw this Veronica, we knew that our customers would love it. Veronicas produce one of the clearest blues available in perennials, and these fascinating flower spikes are also topped with green, making this one of the most eye-catching plants you will ever see. Veronica 'Ulster Blue Dwarf' is a compact variety of speedwell which easily fills gaps in flower borders and is ideal in pots and containers where you can make the most of its absolutely stunning flower colour. With the lance-shaped foliage forming a delightful mound, Ulster Blue Dwarf will give your garden year-round interest and immediately commands attention. Its long-lasting colour is never overpowering, so everyone will notice your garden! Speedwells are easy to grow in any moist but well-drained, reasonably fertile soil, preferably in full sun although they will tolerate partial shade, making them a great addition to those areas that can be a little tricky - placed near the front of the border, they'll thrive. Supplied as 3 x  established plants in 9cm pots, ready to be potted on or planted out. Plants reach 20-30cm when in bloom. Note plants are dormant October - March so may show no leaves in the pot.

What could be better than growing your own apricots right outside your patio door? Our dwarf patio apricot has been grown especially that in mind. In spring, as early as March, beautifully scented pale pink blossom appears, filling the air with fragrance. As summer arrives, wonderful orange splashed, sunshine yellow apricots being to form, growing larger until they're finally ready to pick in August, and being self-fertile, there doesn't need to be another apricot tree nearby to pollinate it. However, you can increase your crop my hand-pollinating. Growing on a dwarfing rootstock, this deciduous tree is the perfect size for growing in a large pot on the patio, and it can be trained against a wall too - south facing is best so that the tree receives maximum sunlight. Although hardy, choose the warmest place you can for growing your apricot, sheltered from cold winds and you'll be rewarded with an excellent crop of firm, juicy fruit. As they flower early in the spring, you may need to cover the blossom with fleece if a frost is expected, otherwise your crop will be reduced. Perfect for snacking, picked fresh and juicy straight from the tree, and ideal for adding to fruit salads, making jam and cooking into tasty puddings. A beautiful new Buddleia for gardens of all sizes, 'High Five Purple' is a wonderful dwarf variety with all the features of its full-sized relatives, but in a miniature! Bright green foliage gives rise to an abundance of large, upright flower spikes from spring until autumn, each one densely packed with hundreds of individual double purple flowers that carry a sweet, honey-like fragrance. Although Buddleia are renowned for being invasive by self-seeding freely, this is not the case with 'High Five Purple' because it produces very little seed, and what seeds do appear won't usually germinate, so no more picking out seedlings from your flower borders! Happiest in full sun 'High Five Purple' will also grow in partial shade and will remain neat and compact wherever you choose to plant it.
