Campsis capreolata Tangerine Beauty
  • £9.99

Campsis capreolata 'Tangerine Beauty' is a vigorous climbing plant that produces an abundance of vivid orange flowers over a long period from June, all the way into autumn. The large, trumpet shaped flowers have golden yellow throats and are a paler orange on the underside. Also known as the trumpet vine, this sturdy climber will happily scramble over any support, up a wall or through a tree, bringing exotic colour and height into the garden. The deciduous, lush green foliage, with leaves up to six inches long, is light green at first before darkening as the summer progresses, and turning reddish-purple in winter and provides an ideal contrasting background to the bright, lightly scented flowers. 'Tangerine Beauty' is self-clinging, using tendril to attach itself to nearby supports, so you don't need to tie it in. Growing rapidly, this climber is a spectacular sight when in full flower! Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, ready for planting.
