Ferns are fascinating and ancient plants, being found in fossils from over 140 million years ago. They don't produce seeds or flowers, and instead reproduce using spores. These showy evergreen shrubs are perhaps the perfect garden plant as they are easy to care for, fully hardy and give months of interest in the garden.
