Agastache are a family of highly aromatic perennials with intensely coloured flowers that are a magnet for bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
The Giant Hyssop, Agastache 'Summer Glow' is a herbaceous perennial with an attractive colour scheme of yellow and purple. It produces tall slender stems clothed with dozens of purple calyces that each hold a tubular yellow flower that bees and other insects will love. The mint-like foliage has a scent that slugs and snails dislike so they'll give it a wide berth and leave the plant to thrive untouched. Agastache is easy to grow and maintain with the added bonus of being drought tolerant and with those striking good looks it's perfect for an exotic or cottage garden setting. Height: 60cm (24).
