A bushy, deciduous shrub with very dark purple foliage which contrasts well with the abundance of yellow flowers in June, Diervilla rivularis 'Troja Black' makes an ideal specimen shrub for any garden. Also known as the Georgia Bush Honeysuckle because of the shape of the flowers, it's a superb way to bring colour into your garden, the double-lipped blooms compliment perfectly the purple-bronze leaves, which turn deep red in autumn. As the flowers age, they turn a delightful yellow-coral and are a magnet to pollinators, especially butterflies. A new introduction, Troja Black spreads by sending up suckers which eventually form a decent sized clump, perfect for a massed planting. Supplied as an established plant, ready for immediate planting and will eventually reach approx. H1.5 x W1m.
We are proud to support one of Britain's most recognisable and treasured heritage sites, Castle Howard. This decadent arrangement is inspired by the magnificent 8,800-acre estate. Working with Castle Howard, a place like no other, we have produced an arrangement designed to impress. We have created this magical bouquet with Castle Howard to represent the stunning reds of Lady Georgiana's Dressing Room which is one of the most recognised stately rooms within the house. With the striking reds of the room being represented by the elegant Naomi Roses, the gold Ruscus adds to the bouquet, mirroring the gold accents in Lady Georgiana's Dressing Room. Twisted willow adorns the bouquet to represent the stunning bed located in Lady Georgiana's bedroom. Touches of Blue Eryngium add pops of colour to this bouquet, representing the blues of the Turquoise Drawing Room. Proceeds from this bouquet will be given to Castle Howard to contribute to the continued preservation and conservation of this beautiful Heritage site and to contribute to the maintenance towards the stunning grounds, to preserve heritage to be enjoyed for many years to come.
