Geranium sanguineum, the hardy geranium or Cranesbill, is a clump-forming perennial growing to around 20cm (8in) tall, with spreading roots that easily establishes wherever it's planted. The lightly ruffled magenta flowers that are produced from late spring to early autumn, making it one of the most prolific and long blooming geraniums that you can buy and these contrast beautifully with the deeply lobed leaves that redden into the autumn. Ideal for tubs or mixed containers, 'Tiny Monster' is a vigorous and floriferous variety that makes excellent ground cover as it's tolerant of sun and partial shade. Easy to grow and virtually maintenance free, this tough little beauty is rarely bothered by pests such as snails and rabbits. Supplied as 3 x established plants in 9cm pots, ready to be planted out.
The popular cut flower and houseplant Gerbera has been upgraded to a garden perennial, giving an amazing 5 months of colour from spring to autumn every year. The world's first Hardy Gerbera in a range of bright, zingy colours, the 'Garvinea Series' was launched to great acclaim across Europe, where the Dutch breeders developed an improved plant with much bigger flowers, and even longer lasting performance. Winter hardy to around -8C (although avoid severe winter wet), and flowering for several seasons of colour, the highly distinctive flowers of Garvinea simply keep coming - up to 50 on a 2-year-old plant. Easy to grow and keep, they're also highly resistant to pests and diseases, making them the ideal garden plant! We love them potted up in bright & bold planters - in a mix of 4 zingy, starburst colours (Opal Fruits if you are a certain age!) you can mix and match your plants to your planters and create an eye-catching display for your patio! Suppled as 4 x mixed colour plants in 7cm pots ready for potting on or planting out when all risk of frost has passed, Garvineas are herbaceous, so die back completely underground over winter, to emerge bigger and better next year.
Ginger Lily will add an exotic look to your garden and create a wonderful display of scented blooms each year from late summer onwards. Zingy spikes of blousy flowers will tower above clumps of lance-shaped leaves, instantly transporting you to a tropical paradise! Don't forget to breathe in deeply as the heavily scented blooms carry a stunning sweet fragrance particularly in the early evening! Despite its exotic good looks, this plant is completely reliable in the UK - the tubers will over-winter successfully and thrive in a sun baked spot in a pot or planted directly in the soil. Top Tip - plant very shallow on surface of compost in hot sunny spot to get going, they love being baked to get started.

This will encourage the best leaf colour.Care Guide- Before planting, incorporate plenty of organic matter into the soil. Hostas prefer a rich, moisture retentive soil.- Individually knock out each plant from its container. Look at the roots if they are circling around the compost, it is best to tease them out. To do this, push your fingers into the root ball along the bottom edge and pull. Do this in a couple of places. This should encourage the roots to spread into the surrounding soil.- Next use a trowel or spade to create a hole just deep and wide enough to set in the football.- The aim is to bury just the roots, leaving the bases of the stems (when in growth in summer) or the shoots (in spring) above ground.- Firm back around the soil, using your hand for small clumps and your heel on larger areas.- Keep plants well-watered and mulched with well-rotted organic matter.- Hostas can be grown in any container in a good, multi-purpose compost. Ensure that they are kept well-watered. Pot-grown hostas should be fed monthly with a general-purpose liquid feed.- Protect from slugs and snails.- If you find that your hosta is suffering from scorched leaves, move it to a shadier, more sheltered position.Planting Time:All yearFlowering Time:June - JulyAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire. Hardy Lupins are a staple perennial for cottage gardens and are becoming increasingly popular for cut flower displays too. With their tall, stately spires of bloom, lupins are a real summer garden classic and certainly have the wow factor. Smothered in pea-like flowers, right to the top of their stems, their palmate, sage green foliage creates the perfect backdrop for the eye-catching blooms making a stunning statement in your garden. Traditional lupins need a lot of room and can get tall and leggy, but not the Gallery series! Far more compact and robust, they reach just 60cm tall, yet will still fill your garden with incredible flower power. Perfect for growing in pots and great for creating focal features on patios and decking, you don't need a garden to get the most out of these amazing perennials. Flowering throughout June and July, the perfect blooms of Lupin 'Gallery' open in succession from the bottom of the spire upwards, prolonging the flowering season, and are a magnet to butterflies, bees and other beneficial pollinating insects making your summer garden a haven for wildlife. Easy to grow and totally winter hardy, Manhattan Lights is also easy to maintain and makes the perfect cottage garden plant - it's perennial so comes back year after year with an ever-increasing amount of blooms and works spectacularly when planted alongside old fashioned English roses and hardy geraniums. Supplied as 3 x established plants in 9cm pots and ready to plant out, these lupins are easy to grow and care for and will grow to around 60cm x 60cm, flowering in June - July.
