Heather x darleyensis can thrive in exposed areas, making it an ideal plant for coastal gardens or alpine rockeries, with no shelter from fencing or trees. The plant flowers all though winter into spring, when most of the garden is dreary and dormant. Heather always looks great planted near to dwarf conifers, such as Juniper, and is extremely low maintenance. It has needle like foliage and masses of petite flowers and as a low growing shrub, it can be used as a groundcover alternative to grass lawns, if planted in groups. Height: 30cm (12).
