Clematis 'Jackmanii' bears single blooms, with the velvety purple sepals contrasting well against the creamy coloured anthers. This very free flowering variety is late to bloom, creating a colourful garden display from mid to late summer. Winner of an RHS AGM, it is ideal for sunny walls and fences and can also cope with a more difficult, north-facing position. Height: 3m (10'). Spread 1m (3'). Pruning group: 3.
