Loved for its free standing habit and large, daisy-like blooms, Echinacea 'Magnus' is a compact variety of Cone Flower, perfect for growing at the front of borders amongst other perennials. Particularly attractive to bees and butterflies, the fiery-red, cone shaped centres of the flowers are surrounded by attractive pink, daisy-shaped petals. The seed heads look particularly attractive in winter and the seeds provide food for birds, so no part of this plant is left to waste. Ideal for use as cut flowers, with a flowering period from July right through summer. Height: 45cm (18). Spread: 30cm (12).

Equally as impressive as its sibling ?Limelight?, Hydrangea paniculata ?Little Lime? maintains a much more compact habit, making it suitable for small gardens and containers. Fantastic displays of conical, lime-green flowers float above lush green foliage which changes to glorious hues of red and orange in autumn. As the blooms age, they fade through creamy white to a soft shade of pink. Who?d have thought, for a shrub with so many colour changes through the seasons, this unique introduction will cope in most conditions and still manages to maintain its vigour.
