One of the most beautiful of all spring-flowering plnats. Vigourous in habit, it produces a profusion of large blooms in a delightful range of colours from white through to cream and yellow to orange and crimson.
An easy to grow mixture providing an abundance of attractive wild flowers to add colour, grace and interest to the garden. Suitable for the flower border or wild area they are also valuable for the butterflies, bees, seed eating birds and insects they will attract. The stately blue green, deeply ribbed foliage makes an attractive foil for their magnificent flowers. Exquisite specimens for the greenhouse and conservatory, or for a bright windowsill indoors. The longest flowering and best double pot marigold that we have grown on our trial grounds! Sturdy, dwarf, multi-branching plants produce large, luminous blooms, to brighten summer borders and containers. The daisy-like flowers of Calendula 'Candyman Yellow' are excellent for cutting and can also be added to salads as an edible flower. Quick and easy to grow, calendula copes in almost any garden situation, and even grows well in coastal areas. Height: 25cm (10). Spread: 30cm (12).

Boldly contrasting, big creamy white flowers with deep chocolate centres. Excellent for flower arranging and great at back of borders or against a tall wall where they provide atmosphere and contrast. Flowers summer. Height 4-5ft.
Cornflower 'Polka Dot Mixed' blends the loveliest shades of cornflower colours for a really pretty addition to summer borders. A counterpart to Boy OBoy Orange with large bright yellow, double crested flowers which are produced prolifically from early June until frosts. A petite bright and cheerful variety very suited for windowboxes and the front of the border as well as bedding, tubs etc. Flowers all summer.
Purple, Yellow, Striped and White goblets unfurl their petals to welcome the spring. This large flowered variety is a joyful sight when planted in drifts or naturalised in grass. Flowering 7.5cm (3) tall during February and March, these hardy crocus bulbs will multiply and bloom year after year.
This mixture of species and hybrids boasts a range of flower and leaf types, even appearing through snow. Flower shades can vary from lime-green, through white, appleblossom pink, to dark maroon, either spotted, speckled or plain Foliage is mid to dark green, leathery with different degrees of dissection. The seed pods are also attractive. These long lived hardy perennials can be grown in the border or as pot plants in the unheated greenhouse, flowering late winter through early spring. A useful addition to the flower arranger when few subjects are available, they reach a height of 30-60cm (12-24in).
