Its unusual heart shaped leaves are dappled with green and sage patterns with shaded red undersides. Commonly referred to as the String of Turtles vine it has long trailing stems which can grow up to 1 metre long. A native of the tropical regions of South America, Peperomia make wonderful houseplants in the UK. Peperomia 'Raindrop Feel Green' is a striking, compact variety with beautiful dark green, glossy leaves which loves bright and warm conditions and appreciates additional humidity either from regular misting or by standing in a tray of wet pebbles. The heart shaped leaves have a lush, succulent look to them and as 'Raindrop Feel Green' is naturally compact and only grow to 30cm, it's ideal on a desk or windowsill, away from direct sunlight. As the plant matures it produces unusual and interesting looking flowers that look a little like mouse tails, but Peperomia is grown mainly for its wonderfully attractive leaves. Slow growing in very easy to care for, it'll need virtually no maintenance apart from the removed of faded leaves and flowers, and regular feeding and watering. Supplied as a potted plant in a 14cm nursery pot, growing to a height and spread of 30cm (1ft).

This is a vigorous plant with sword-shaped, pleated, mid-green leaves. It is perfect for planting in large groups, bringing heat to your borders or in pots which will overflow with its arching leaves and stems, and the flowers are also excellent for cutting. Choose a nice sunny spot and that isn't too dry - although can tolerate periods of drought once established and will naturalise if happy where they are. That said however, in general they will thrive in any conditions moist or dry soil, full sun or shade, shelter or exposed spots requiring almost no maintenance. Ideal for busy gardeners. Hardy perennials (to at least -20C), crocosmia are some of the very easiest plants to grow. Peperomia Angulata

Originally from South America, the Peperomia Angulata (sometimes called Radiator Plants) is a beautiful hanging plant with light green leaves and attractive lighter green stripes on creeping stems. The red stems add further interest and the plant looks fantastic left to creep along a shelf or trail from a hanging planter. It has a compact, spreading nature and is particularly suited to growing in low or fluorescent light, making it perfect for offices and shady spots. They are fairly slow growing plants, so you watch them creep along your room for the years to come. Light and Water Peperomia Angulata are fine in moderate light conditions and will tolerate shade. Avoid direct sunlight. They do well under fluorescent lights, making them ideal for the office or basement flat. Water when the soil has almost dried out, Radiator Plants don’t like to be over-watered. Water from below by placing the plant in a dish or pool of water until full saturated. Water is stored in the leaves making these plants drought resistant. Peperomia enjoy raised humidity levels but most of the time they do just fine in normal household conditions.
