Also known as the 'Summer Snowflake', this is a relative of the snowdrop, which it closely resembles. However, it is much taller and flowers later, during March and April. The gently arching flower stems reach up to 50 cm tall, and carry lovely, dainty pendant blooms in groups, or umbels, of three to five but sometimes as many as seven. The beautiful flowers are pure white with a green spot at the end of each petal.
