The deep red fruit resemble large blackberries but are sweeter and more aromatic and can be enjoyed picked straight from the bush when they ripen in late summer - to get the best flavour wait until the berries are really deep red before picking. Grow in a sunny spot trained on a trellis, fence or best of all on wires against a sunny wall and you'll be picking pounds of fruit every year.
