Please see description below for full product details. One of the most valuable garden shrubs in winter, Camellias flower when just about everything else is dormant. 'Volunteer' doesn't disappoint with its exquisite, large, double flowers in soft pink with a paler edge. As the flowers age their colour deepens but the tips of the petals remain light, creating a beautifully contrasting two-tone effect. The fantastic and joyful display begins in January and continues into March, just when you need an uplifting splash of bold colour in you garden. Camellias need acidic soils - like Rhododendrons, so they should be grown in ericaceous compost. They are evergreen, and their neat, shiny tough leaves will provide a backdrop to other plants all year. Flower buds start swelling late the previous summer, and keep getting bigger all autumn and winter until they explode into colour. Supplied as an established plant in a 13cm. Rose 'Queen Elizabeth' - Single Potted Plant
  • £17.99

This product is offered for sale for home delivery exclusively via our website only. The images represent established plants, the supplied product may be younger. All heights listed are approximate and fully established plant heights may vary. The amount of foliage, buds or bloom on the plant will depend on what part of the season the product is purchased. Please see description below for full product details. One of the most popular roses of all time and for good reason -Queen Elizabeth is a lovely variety with large, pink, double blooms that flower continuously all summer long. Each of its astonishingly pretty flowers is accompanied by a delicate light scent that is sure to delight wherever you plant it. Height 2m x 1.2m, but a very tidy and impactful Bush rose at this size! A traditional favourite that is particularly good as a fragrant, colourful hedge plus it also carries the accolade of having been voted the World's Favourite Rose. Supplied as a 3L Potted plantTop Tips- To prune, just remove any dead, dying, damaged and diseased stems and also deadhead regularly. Traditionally, you would cut just above a leaf joint with a sloping cut away from the bud, however, this isn't necessary, and don’t worry about pruning too much - roses are very resilient and will grow back. When pruning, make sure that your secateurs are clean and sharp to prevent squashing stems and introducing disease. Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help the plant establish quicker.Care Guide- Roses can be planted at any time of the year, as long as the soil is not frozen, waterlogged or drought-dry.- Plant your rose where it can get plenty of sun for at least half of the day, and where it will be sheltered from the wind.- Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, so add plenty of well-rotted manure into the hole if necessary and plant so that the graft union (the swollen area when the stems meet the roots) is around 3cm below soil level.- Water well every other day - daily if the weather is hot and dry. Established roses can be watered around once a week through spring and summer - more if the weather is hot.- For best results, feed roses in late-March/April and again in late July.Planting Time:October - AprilFlowering Time:May - OctoberAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire. Rose 'Iceberg' - Single Established Plant
  • £17.99

This product is offered for sale for home delivery exclusively via our website only. The images represent established plants, the supplied product may be younger. All heights listed are approximate and fully established plant heights may vary. The amount of foliage, buds or bloom on the plant will depend on what part of the season the product is purchased. Please see description below for full product details.Surprisingly, good white roses are hard to find but ‘Iceberg’ is quite simply one of the very best roses ever bred. A floribunda rose, it produces wave upon wave of gorgeous clusters of medium-sized, lightly double, pure-white flowers in a wonderful contrast against its dark-green, glossy foliage. Purest white, sometimes with a tinge of blush pink in the heat, it has a light sweet fragrance it keeps on going all summer, and well into the short nights of autumn. Repeat flowering, vigorous and very easy to grow, 'Iceberg' has won stacks of awards since it was first bred over half a century ago and is still as popular as ever. Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come. Floribunda Roses produce large clusters of flowers, creating a gorgeous effect in your garden which lasts over many seasons - few other plants can do that for you! Perhaps due to the number of flowers, floribunda roses don't usually have much scent, and if they do it's generally light. That said, more fragrant varieties are being bred all the time. The good news for new gardeners or those with very little time on their hands, is that as they are generally hardy, more robust and more disease resistant than other rose types, they really are one of the easiest types to grow and perfect for most garden situations, including containers for the more compact types. A great garden rose and an absolute must-have for any rose lover! Supplied as an established plant in a 3L pot, ready to plant out. Grows to approx. 1m x 1m and flowers May-Sept.Top Tips- When pruning, make sure that your secateurs are clean and sharp to prevent squashing stems and introducing disease.- Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help the plant establish quicker.Care GuidePlanting Advice for Iceberg Rose:- Roses can be planted at any time of the year, as long as the soil is not frozen, waterlogged or drought dry.- Plant your rose where it can get plenty of sun for at least half of the day, and where it will be sheltered from the wind.- Add plenty of well-rotted manure into the hole and plant so that the graft union (the swollen are when the stems meet the roots) is just below soil level.- Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help the plant establish quicker.Aftercare Information for your 'Iceberg' rose:- Water well every other day - daily if the weather is hot and dry.- Established roses can be watered around once a week through spring and summer - more if the weather is hot.- For best results, feed roses in in late-March/April and again late July.Pruning Advice for Rosa Iceberg:- To prune, just remove any dead, dying, damaged and diseased stems and also deadhead regularly.- Traditionally, you would cut just above a leaf joint with a sloping cut away from the bud, however, this isn't necessary, and don’t worry about pruning too much - roses are very resilient and will grow back.Planting Time:February - AprilOctober - NovemberFlowering Time:May - OctoberAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire.
