Epipremnum aureum, or Devils Ivy, is an evergreen vine in its native Polynesia where it uses aerial roots to climb up to 20 metres with enormous leaves that can reach a metre across. Fortunately, as a houseplant it is much less vigorous, yet still retains large, glossy green yellow-streaked leaves up to 10cm (4in) long. The trailing stems will grow and grow unless you cut them back, making this an ideal plant for cascading from hanging baskets or down shelving. Also looks fantastic climbing up a support such as a moss pole. Remarkably tolerant of low light, Epipremnum will even retain its leaf colour in near darkness. Easy to care for, requiring just a little trimming to keep them in check and not too much water. A proven performer, fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit. House plants are a great help for improving our health and wellbeing as they filter harmful pollutants from the air inside our homes. Supplied as a potted plant in a 12cm pot, growing to a height and spread of 2m (6ft 6in). Please note that the decorative pot is not included.Care GuidePosition in a warm room away from cold draughts and radiators. The ideal temperature is between 17C (63F) and 30C (86F).
