With the Pro-Seeder you can sow fine seeds easily. With a selection of different sized needles, it can be used to sow seeds of all shapes and sizes. You just squeeze the bulb and then release slightly to suck the seed on to the end of the needle. This is the same technique as commercial nurseries use, avoiding waste and reducing the need for thinning out. Ideal for most types of seed, including primula, begonia and tomato seed, as well as many other flower and vegetable varieties.

One of the ground-breaking Boulevard® clematis, 'Guiding Promise' was bred by award-winning clematis expert Raymond Evison. Introduced in 2010 to mark the centenary of the Girl Guides, this compact, medium-sized plant gives an impressive display over a long flowering season from spring until autumn. This delightful compact climber flowers all the way along its stems, resulting in masses of large, mauve-purple flowers with a splash of burgundy from the ground upwards from late spring and into autumn. A beautiful feature for fences, trellises, and arches and is especially effective in containers. 'Guiding Promise' loves a sunny spot, where it can be trained up trellis for a vertical wall effect or allowed to naturally wind its way through beds and borders. Easy to look after, growing to just 1.2m (4ft) it'll never get out of control. A trim in February or March, cutting back stems to 15cm (6in) is all that's needed. Supplied an established plant in a 7cm pot, ready for planting.
It's the bright gold foliage that makes Veronica prostrata 'Aztec Gold' such a good performer. Growing on tall stems, the golden leaves add structure and colour to the garden all year round, contrasting with green or purple-leaved plants as well as with its own blue flowers which appear from early summer onwards. The flowers are attractive to bees, and this Prostrate Speedwell is rabbit resistant. It works well in gravel gardens and hot, dry sunny banks and borders. Height: 15cm (6). Spread: 30cm (12).
