The roots are pointed and the variety has a strong disease resistance. Early sowings require protection with cloches and when harvesting, select alternate young carrots from the row, allowing the remainder to devop fully. Keep well watered to prevent the roots splitting. Seedlings appear within 7-21 days of planting and if continuous crops are desirable sow every 2-3 weeks.
