This fast-growing and vigorous variety produces plentiful crops of bitter-free mini cucumbers. An 'all female' type, they are best grown in a greenhouse or tunnel, where seedless fruits can be produced if kept free from pollinators. 'All female' F1 hybrids give the surest results, producing almost all female flowers, virtually eliminating the need to remove male flowers (male flowers are generally only produced when plants become stressed). A worthy recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this is an easy-to-grow, long-standing favourite of vegetable growers and is frequently recommended by the gardening press and consumer groups as one of the best tasting cucumbers. Its high resistance to disease extends the growing season as the plants are less susceptible to powdery mildew, which can be prevalent towards the end of summer and into autumn, when light levels are lower. If you are looking for an unusual trailing succulent that is totally 'on trend' and that's easy to care for Peperomia prostrata is the perfect choice. Its unusual heart shaped leaves are dappled with green and sage patterns with shaded red undersides. Commonly referred to as the String of Turtles vine it has long trailing stems which can grow up to 1 metre long. It will thrive in a light position with some shade which makes it wonderful for placing high up on a shelf where the stems can hang freely. Supplied in a 14cm hanging pot.
Ficus 'Lyrata' is a magnificent indoor specimen tree with huge, glossy, violin shaped leaves that give it its more common name, the Fiddle Leaf Fig. The lush, shiny leaves have prominent pale green veins and face upwards and are much larger than other Ficus, growing to 30cm long and 13cm wide. This is a great plant for adding some serious and dramatic greenery to your indoor space. Eventually growing to a height and spread of 3m (10ft), but this will be restricted by pot size and pruning. Being a native to tropical parts of Africa, 'Lyrata' prefers slightly humid conditions, so it will benefit from a misting of fresh water from a spray bottle every day. Alternatively, place the pot on a tray of pebbles filled with water, but don't let the bottom of the pot sit in the water. Supplied as a potted plant in a 17cm nursery pot.

Efflorescence itself can, over time convert to soluble saltsand will be washed away by rain. It is unpredictable but will generally disappear with the natural weathering process and time. These are natural phenomenon's that may occur through "weathering"and Bowland Stone cannot accept responsibility. This is an inherent characteristic of high quality wet cast stone products and can add to the overall patina of a landscape project.Differential weathering may occur as dark and light patches on the surface of the paving. Weathering and site conditions can cause these shade variations to appear across the surface of individual units.This does not affect the performance of the paving.
