The fabulous centuries old gourmet French Fig, 'Rouge de Bordeaux', produces the most amazing deep red purple fruits, with an almost violet metallic luminescence about their skins. A late cropping variety, best grown in a pot, it will thrive in a Sunny spot in a smaller pot for root restriction, which encourages bigger fruit crops and less leaves.
