Scabious 'Butterfly Blue' is great in wildlife gardens because, as its name suggests, it attracts scores of butterflies and bees between July and October. These pollinators flock to the hardy perennial's lavender-blue blooms, which protrude on dainty stems above grey-green, lance shaped foliage.
