Here's a great new strawberry variety that's just packed with flavour! 'Sweet Summer' gives a heavy crop of large conical berries which are firm yet superbly sweet and juicy. It's an 'everbearer' variety which means the plants are not affected by day length and so just keep on cropping right through summer and into autumn, often as late as the first frosts, each one giving as much as kilo through the season so you'll pick loads from this pack of plants. As the growing plants produce few runners they stay nice and tidy and are perfect for container growing too. Plants are not troubled by disease and very easy to grow. If you are looking to pick sweet juicy fruit throughout the warmer months this is the perfect strawberry to choose.
This exciting new variety brings a modern twist to a garden favourite. Splendid bicolour blooms are purple with white splashes, each one unique!
A magnificent low-growing, wide-spreading hardy annual producing a continuous display of snow white flowers all summer long.

Also known as the Strawflower or the Everlasting flower, this daisy-like plant is related to Helychrysums - a popular cottage garden plant that is enjoying a bit of a comeback. The attention-grabbing flowers are what makes this garden annual so unusual and what gave it the name of 'everlasting flower' - you really must grow them to see what the fuss is all about! As the big, intensely yellow blooms of Granvia Gold mature, they develop a deep orange centre giving the plant a bright golden glow. But that's not its most unusual feature - if you touch the petals, you'll be amazed to find that the actually feel like paper! Compact and easy to grow, these bushy annuals make perfect container plants - ideal for brightening up patios and balconies as they can be moved wherever you want them. Easy to grow and great for filling gaps in borders, they provide long lasting colour and make an excellent cut flower, lasting for weeks - even months if you hang a bunch up to dry for a couple of weeks after picking. Supplied as 6 x plug plants, ready to grow on before planting out. Plants reach H50cm (20in) x W50cm (20in).
Is there anything better than enjoying your own home-grown fruit! Thanks to the compact nature of this plant, you can pick these golden raspberries straight from a pot on your patio. 'Summer Lovers' is classed as an autumn-fruiting raspberry, however once established it will start to bear fruit in the summer from the middle of July - 3 weeks before 'Autumn Bliss'. In addition, and as a contrast to the classic summer raspberries, this one is a primocane variety bearing fruit on new wood therefore meaning you will get fruit in the very first year - no need to wait a year for crops! Easy to maintain, it requires just a little prune to simply remove old canes once they are older than 18 months and that is it. A breakthrough in raspberry breeding, 'Summer Lovers Garden Gold' beats other established varieties in fruiting time, exceeding the current August crop of the earliest autumn berries. In fact, this variety has made the term 'autumn fruiting' obsolete as it matures in the middle of summer! Easy to grow and look after, this raspberry plant can be grown and picked without problem in small spaces, in the garden, on a balcony or terrace, as they reach less than a metre. Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, ready for planting.
Hosta 'Sum and Substance' is a great plantain lily that has been awarded the coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM). This bold and beautiful Hosta has huge, deeply corrugated deep green leaves which make a good backdrop for tall stems bearing pale lilac flowers which appear in July. This is the Hosta for a shady courtyard or border, where it makes a bold statement. It looks good with ferns and provides really effective ground cover in areas where many other plants prefer not to grow. Give it shade and moist conditions and it will reward you with lush foliage which looks as good in large pots as it does in the border. 'Sum and Substance' will tolerate some sun, but give the foliage shade during the hottest part of the day and shelter it from cold winds.
Masses of tiny flowers create flat plates of colour that balance on tall stems above the aromatic, feathery foliage. This low maintenance perennial provides an explosion of late summer colour to brighten the backs of herbaceous borders.
The Giant Hyssop, Agastache 'Summer Glow' is a herbaceous perennial with an attractive colour scheme of yellow and purple. It produces tall slender stems clothed with dozens of purple calyces that each hold a tubular yellow flower that bees and other insects will love. The mint-like foliage has a scent that slugs and snails dislike so they'll give it a wide berth and leave the plant to thrive untouched. Agastache is easy to grow and maintain with the added bonus of being drought tolerant and with those striking good looks it's perfect for an exotic or cottage garden setting. Height: 60cm (24). Spread: 45cm (18).
