A stunning bright orange Black-Eyed Susan with the largest flowers we have ever seen on a seed raised Thunbergia. Vigorous plants quickly cover a trellis against a sunny fence, or look spectacular growing up an obelisk in a container
This stunning Thunbergia (Black Eyed Susan) is the result of years of careful selection by T&M's flower breeders. Unlike many other varieties that only have an odd red bloom, with a high proportion of salmon, Blushing SusieT is predominantly red, with other shades of ivory and apricot adding contrast. Spectacular when used tumbling over containers, twining around basket chains or climbing obelisks in the garden or containers. Climbing to 90-150cm (36-60in).
Affectionately known as Black Eyed Susan, this twining annual makes a popular and eye-catching summer climber. Thunbergia alata 'Salmon Shades' is a pretty colour mix with gentle terracotta shades of pink, orange, cream and apricot, each with a characteristic dark eye.
Thunbergia alata 'Sunny Suzy Collection', or more commonly known as 'Black Eye Susan' (due to the dark centres of the flowers), is an attractive climbing plant, with delicate flowers, that bloom from June to October, with no need for deadheading.
A pillar of beauty! Our solar tower of Thunbergia and Ipomoea make a perfect partnership of leafy cover and citrus blooms.
Bring some vivid colour to your garden with a dazzling display from this fabulous new introduction. A berberis with a purpose, 'Lutin Rouge' is a naturally compact type that can be used around the garden to highlight other plants or on its own as a feature plant in pots on the patio or decking - they look particularly striking as a pair either side of a path or when planted to the front of a border. A deciduous plant, this berberis will lose all its leaves in autumn, refreshing its mantle in spring when fresh new foliage appears. New spring growth emerges a bright and captivating scarlet and matures to a rich wine-red as summer progresses. Older leaves fade to green, giving an almost two-tone effect later in the year. Perfect for time-strapped gardeners, this very hardy, drought tolerant shrub needs virtually no maintenance once established, making it ideal for first-time gardeners too! Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, will grow to H45cm x W25cm. Will rarely produce flowers if at all, but its stunning colour more than makes up for that!
A collection of colourful climbers and something a little different, these Thunbergia are African natives that will happily grow in the UK. Also know as the black-eyed Susan vine, Thunbergia can be grown as a climber trained up a wall or trellis, or in hanging baskets. Either way, the 2m long stems covered in deep green, heart shaped foliage and exotic, brightly coloured flowers throughout summer and autumn will look incredible in your garden. Thunbergia is a tender perennial that's usually grown as an annual in the UK. However, it can be overwintered in a greenhouse or conservatory when outdoor temperatures drop below 5°C (40°F). Fast growing, it'll produce an abundance of vivid pink, apricot, yellow and orange flowers, all with contrasting dark centres that will quickly climb by twining up a support or fill hanging baskets, cascading over the sides for month after month. Supplied as 6 plug plants, ready to grow on before planting out. Reaching a height of 2m (6½ft) and spreading 1m (3ft). You'll receive 3 x pink, and 1 each of apricot, yellow and orange.
