Varieties Included: 'Braeburn' Apple, 'Conference' Pear and 'Victoria' Plum.Top Tips- Soak rootball overnight before planting and keep well watered - especially Spring planting- Get trees established well in first year for earlier and bigger crops in future.Care Guide- Once established, apples and pears need very little care. Water during dry spells especially if newly planted or in containers.- In early spring, sprinkle a general fertiliser around the base of the tree.- Apples & pears should be pruned every year. Timing and method of pruning depends on the type of fruit you are growing, and the style of tree.- Plum trees will additionally need to have fruit thinned to ease congestion and weight on the branches.- Your crop of plums can be greatly increased by regular feeding and watering. Because they can set heavy crops, plums respond well to fertilisers, especially nitrogen.- Established trees can be mulched in mid-spring to help retain soil moisture, suppress weeds, and provide nitrogen.- Pruning should be carried out in spring or summer - avoid pruning in the dormant season or in mid to late autumn, as there is risk of infection from silver leaf disease and bacterial canker.Planting Time:October - AprilFlowering Time:April - MayFruiting Time:July - OctoberAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire. Money Tree Pachira Aquatica Indoor Plant 12cm Pot
  • £14.99

Pachira Aquatica is a striking but undemanding houseplant with gorgeous twining stems and luxurious, palmate leaves. Also known as the Money Tree, Guiana Chestnut or the Saba Nut it is an exotic-looking specimen that will be the talking point of your home. A native of South and Central America that thrives near wetlands and swamps, hence its name 'Aquatica'. It loves soil that is moist at all times so it's virtually indestructible and also thrives in indirect light, so growing it indoors is a piece of cake. Preferring a warm, light position, a little shade is also well tolerated by this sturdy houseplant. Just position it in the brightest area of your home and leave it to do its thing. Supplied as a potted plant in a 12cm nursery pot. Please note that the decorative pot is not included.Care GuidePachira aquatica needs to be watered - allow it to dry out a little between waterings then give it a generous dousing until the water begins to drain from the pot. It will love a little water-soluble feed from spring through to early summer. A high humidity is also appreciated, so spray the plant regularly, especially if kept in a centrally-heated house. During the winter, place Pachira in a cooler room, and carry out any routine pruning needed: snip back stems just in front of a leaf or node to remove length. Cut no more than 1/3 of a stem and snip it at a 45-degree angle to promote new growth. Trim back the top stems to prevent your tree from growing too tall - keeping it pruned low to the twisted trunk will help control its size. Snip off any new stems that form at the base of the twisted trunk. Snip off close to the trunk, but not flush. This product is offered for sale for home delivery exclusively via our website only. Nordmann Fir Cut Christmas Tree
  • £9.99

You really can't beat that evocative, fresh pine fragrance that a real Christmas Tree brings to the home - artificial trees just don't have the same effect! Just imagine being cozied up next to your tree on a cold winter evening, warm and surrounded by the glorious scent of Christmas. Abies nordmanniana, the Nordmann Pine is the hugely popular non-needle drop variety, and rapidly becoming a traditional favourite. One of the most popular Christmas trees, the Nordmann Pine has soft dark green needles and low needle drop - so they're really easy to handle and move around - you don't have to worry about a face full of prickly needles as you decorate your tree! This in itself is one of the most satisfying moments over the Christmas period, and with the natural lines of a real tree, making that final decision on where to put that last decoration really shows your Christmas prowess - decorate like the boss you know you are! Full, lush and shapely, there is nothing better than a real Christmas Tree at Christmas time, where it will fill your home with gorgeous colour and pine-scented aroma - and did you know that the scent of pine can have a positive effect on your mood, reducing anxiety and stress? Also, from an environmental angle, real trees are the way to go. According to the Carbon Trust, a real Christmas tree has a significantly lower carbon footprint than an artificial tree, especially if it is disposed of properly, by chipping or burning. Easy to care for, you can keep your tree in tip-top condition by placing it in a stand with a water reservoir and adding water regularly. Also keep it away from heat sources such as fires and radiators. So they're eco-friendly, relieve stress and look and smell fabulous , so do you really need another reason to buy a real tree? - oh, yes one more...you're going to have it in your home for around three weeks, so you really don't want to be staring at that dusty, moth-eaten artificial one that has sat in the loft for 50 weeks... We supply a 8-10 year old cut tree, 1.35-1.65m in height, netted and ready for you to decorate your home. Please note that your tree will need a stand which is not supplied with this item.
