Also known as the velvet honeysuckle, Jacobinia suberecta is an unusual and highly desirable perennial that is rarely offered for sale - so this is your opportunity to grow something different that none of your friends are likely to have - or even know about! One of those plants that is a great all-round garden performer, Jacobinia will provide vibrant colour and form all year round and is perfect whether displayed in a pot or planted in the garden border. Giving you a long flowering display from late spring to autumn, the fiery orange, tubular blooms are often visited by hummingbirds in its native South America - and although we can't guarantee that in the UK, we're sure that this delightful bush will attract other wildlife into your garden.
