Please see description below for full product details. Also known as the Bloody dogwood or bloodtwig on account of its glowing winter colour, Cornus 'Anny's Winter Orange', is one of the best for colour, being much prized for its vibrant orange-flushed red stems. Widely grown as ornamental plants, dogwoods are a subtle, underestimated garden staple which come into their own when their leaves change colour in a glorious display in autumn, falling to reveal the flame-coloured branches so popular with gardeners. These are followed in late summer by black berries that will attract all manner of birds into your garden. Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come. Grow in sun or partial shade, but be aware that dogwood produces the best stem colour when grown in full sun.Top Tips- Plant among evergreen shrubs for a stunning display of winter colour.Care GuidePlanting Advice for Cornus sanguinea 'Anny's Winter Orange':- Grow in full sun to partial shade.- Dig a planting hole 3 x wider than the roots of the shrub you are planting and mix some well-rotted compost or manure with the soil from the hole and use this to refill once the shrub is in place.- We've found that a square hole is better than a round one as the new roots, once they reach the edges, tend to grow in a circle round the circumference of the hole whereas when they reach the corners of a square hole, they find it easier to grow through.- Before planting, soak container-grown shrubs thoroughly and allow to drain.- Remove the plant from its pot, tease out a few of the roots and add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help plants establish more quickly.- Place your shrub in the hole at the same level as the pot, then refill the hole with the earth removed (backfilling).- Firm in the soil with your heel, avoiding the rootball, and water well.Aftercare advice for Cornus sanguinea 'Anny's Winter Orange':- Keep plants well-watered until established.Pruning Advice for Cornus sanguinea 'Anny's Winter Orange':- Remove a third of the stems back to ground level in March, when the new buds start to swell to promote new growth, which has the best colour.Planting Time:February - NovemberFlowering Time:May - JuneFruiting Time:August - SeptemberAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire. If in doubt, err towards spring but remember to keep pots well-watered so that the soil does not dry out.Care GuidePlanting Advice for Clethra:- Grow in full sun to partial shade - plants will even tolerate full shade.- Prefers moist, well drained soil that is on the acidic side.- Dig a planting hole 3 x wider than the roots of the shrub you're planting and mix some well-rotted compost or manure with the soil from the hole and use this to re-fill once the shrub is in place.- We've found that a square hole is better than a round one as the new roots, once they reach the edges tend to grow in a circle round the circumference of the hole whereas when they reach the corners of a square hole, they find it easier to grow through.- Before planting soak container-grown shrubs thoroughly and allow to drain.- Remove the plant from its pot and tease out a few of the roots and add Mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help plants establish quicker.- Place your shrub in the hole at the same level at the pot then refill the hole with the earth removed (backfilling).- Firm in the soil with your heel, avoiding the root ball, and water well.Aftercare advice for Clethra:- Keep plants well-watered until established.Pruning Advice for Clethra:- Prune only to remove diseased and damaged parts of the shrub.- Remove root suckers to prevent unwanted spread.Planting Time:February - NovemberFlowering Time:July - SeptemberAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire. Climbing Rose 'Zephirine Drouhin'

All heights listed are approximate and fully established plant heights may vary. The amount of foliage, buds or bloom on the plant will depend on what part of the season the product is purchased. Please see description below for full product details. Also known as The Thornless Rose, Zephrine Drouhin is one of very few almost thornless Climbing roses available. Not only that, it produces an incredibly powerful, strong fruity rose scent that fills the air! Its lovely cerise-pink blooms are produced in abundance over a long period, repeat flowering all Summer, and as an overall display stand out wonderfully against the mid-green foliage. It is easy to grow great for beginners and makes an outstanding hedge. Height to 2.5M. A great old rose, ever-popular and always in our Top 3 sellers, and it's not hard to see why.Top Tips- To prune, just remove any dead, dying, damaged and diseased stems and also deadhead regularly. Traditionally, you would cut just above a leaf joint with a sloping cut away from the bud, however, this isn't necessary, and don’t worry about pruning too much - roses are very resilient and will grow back. When pruning, make sure that your secateurs are clean and sharp to prevent squashing stems and introducing disease. Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help the plant establish quicker.Care Guide- Roses can be planted at any time of the year, as long as the soil is not frozen, waterlogged or drought-dry. Plant your rose where it can get plenty of sun for at least half of the day, and where it will be sheltered from the wind.- Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, so add plenty of well-rotted manure into the hole if necessary and plant so that the graft union (the swollen area when the stems meet the roots) is around 3cm below soil level. Water well every other day - daily if the weather is hot and dry.- Established roses can be watered around once a week through spring and summer - more if the weather is hot.- For best results, feed roses in in late-March/April and again late July.Planting Time:October - AprilFlowering Time:May - OctoberAbout You GardenEstablished for over 50 years, our award winning trusted plant supplier are based in South Lincolnshire. Climbing Rose 'New Dawn'

This product is offered for sale for home delivery exclusively via our website only. The images represent established plants, the supplied product may be younger. All heights listed are approximate and fully established plant heights may vary. The amount of foliage, buds or bloom on the plant will depend on what part of the season the product is purchased. Please see description below for full product details.A stunning Climbing rose with a wonderfully sweet fragrance, Rosa 'New Dawn' bursts into life each May or June with clusters of beautiful, palest shell-pink coloured blooms flowering repeatedly throughout the season. Its lovely scent will fill your patio or garden, and its dark green, glossy foliage is strong, reliable and disease resistant. Climbing Roses bring height and a sense of plenty to the garden, where they are normally grown along house walls and fences but are also perfect for growing up obelisks, arches and trellises. With clusters of large flowers, 'New Dawn' will repeat flower throughout the year, adding much needed colour to the garden when other plants have finished. Reaching 3m height, it is perfect for growing over a pergola or trellis. Voted Worlds Favourite Rose in 1997, and one of the few Climbers to be so, as well as achieving the RHS Award of Garden merit, this cracking climber will perform well wherever you plant it.Top Tips- All of our freshly potted roses are field grown and dug up and potted when the weather conditions are right in October or November, just as the plants are entering their winter dormancy, which helps keep the roots hydrated and in good condition. The roses can be kept in their pots throughout the winter provided they are kept well fed and watered, however ideally, they should be planted out as soon as possible. Because plants are dormant throughout the winter, they do not produce any new roots until spring, so don't be alarmed if the compost falls away from the roots when you take them out of their pots. They will already have been cut back so no further pruning will be required, apart from removing any tips that have died back.Care Guide- Climbing roses are not self-clinging and need support to which the shoots can be tied. If training up pillars, arches or pergolas, twist the main shoots gently around the uprights, keeping them as horizontal as possible, to encourage flowering shoots to form low down.- To prune, just remove any dead, dying, damaged and diseased stems and also deadhead regularly. Traditionally, you would cut just above a leaf joint with a sloping cut away from the bud, however, this isn't necessary, and don’t worry about pruning too much - roses are very resilient and will grow back.- Shorten side shoots by one third to one half, to encourage branching.- When pruning, make sure that your secateurs are clean and sharp to prevent squashing stems and introducing disease.- Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help the plant establish quicker.- Roses can be planted at any time of the year, as long as the soil is not frozen, waterlogged or drought-dry. Swiss Cheese Indoor Plant Monstera Deliciosa 14cm Pot
  • £14.99

The Swiss Cheese Plant, Monstera Deliciosa, is an ever popular and easy to grow houseplant that has inspired generations of indoor gardeners. With glossy, rich green leaves with irregular holes, the plants will trail gently over their pot if left untrained or can be treated as a climber and tied to a support. The glossy, tropical leaves are what makes this plant a star, easily adding a lush, exotic feel to any room. It's fascinating to watch the young leaves as they emerge tightly furled, growing longer each day before opening fully. Young leaves are solid, but as the plant matures they begin to develop the characteristic holes. Naturally a lazy climber, your plant will enjoy the support of a moss pole (not supplied) where you can push its aerial roots into the moss as they develop, helping to support it as it grows. A native of tropical rainforests, Monstera is a houseplant that is easy to keep happy. We recommend that you place it in bright but not direct sunlight indoors and mist the leaves regularly to provide humidity. They love a leaf-wipe now and again to remove dust and restore that glossy sheen. Supplied as an established plant in a 14cm pot. As with all houseplants, keep away from children and pets and take care when handling. Please note that the decorative pot is not included.Care GuideBest grown in indirect sunlight in an average room temperature - avoid large temperature fluctuations. Water regularly and allow the soil to dry a bit between watering. Feed once a month with a general-purpose liquid houseplant feed. Mist leaves to maintain humidity. Clean leaves regularly with a damp cloth. Do not place in direct sunlight, as this will scorch and yellow the leaves. Keep out of darker areas as growth will be spindly and new leaves will lose their holes and cuts. The leaves of Monstera deliciosa are toxic so keep away from pets and children. This product is offered for sale for home delivery exclusively via our website only. Indoor Plants Succulent Mix x6 In 5.5cm Pots
  • £14.99

This collection of six succulent houseplants is perfect as a gift for new gardeners or as a way to introduce children to the wonderful world of plants. They are very forgiving and will tolerate more than the occasional bout of neglect. Succulents have evolved to survive with very little water, storing what they do get in their fleshy leaves, so are perfectly adapted to modern home living. Needing very little in the way of care, these succulent plants are the ideal houseplant for anyone from experts to complete novices. Your succulent collection will thrive in a sandy compost with plenty of light and a little water now and again. Remember also that these are indoor varieties and will not tolerate the cold. If you're short on time but still want plants around you (after all, they do help clean the air in your home), then this is your solution! Slow-growing, they are perfect for home decoration, especially when placed in a pretty pot on a bright windowsill. Like cacti, they're ideal to get kids interested in gardening with their spiky shapes, just remember that they can be a bit sharp, so take care when handling them. Supplied as a collection of 6 mixed plants in 5.5cm nursery pots, ready for a window sill near you now! Images are for illustrative purposes to reflect the type of plant - individual varieties may vary depending on availability.Care GuideAlways use specialist cactus compost when potting. This is sandier and grittier than ordinary compost which helps keep the plants dry. Keep plants frost free - although some will tolerate low temperature, in general they need to be kept above 8-10C, so make ideal houseplants. While succulents can survive on very little water, they will not thrive. From April to September, water weekly, allowing the compost to soak up water and drain freely. Feed with a general-purpose feed at 1/4 strength once a fortnight. From October to March, water only when the compost has dried and then only enough to stop plants shrivelling. Keep your plants in bright, but not direct sunlight - an east or west facing windowsill is ideal. Dust can build up over time, so keep a soft paintbrush handy to remove it as necessary. This product is offered for sale for home delivery exclusively via our website only.
