A simply stunning Patio Peach tree, 'Crimson (R) Bonfire' has been selected for it's unique and delightful burgundy purple foliage and red coloured peach fruits, all on a genetically dwarf tree too. Imagine relaxing on your patio in early Summer - the last of the heavenly sweet scent of Mediterranean peach blossom filling the air. Then in late August, reaching out and plucking one of your very own delicious, juicy ripe peaches! This stunning compact peach tree is so easy to grow, perfect in a pot and because it flowers later than many varieties it fruits much more successfully too. A beautifully symmetrical shaped tree, its foliage has a delightfully rich burgundy colouration. Combined with the crimson peaches it makes a particularly exotic and decorative addition to any patio. Completely winter hardy no matter how cold it gets, you can look forward to your very own harvest of home-grown peaches for years to come. TOP TIP: Peach fruit yield will be increased by keeping the fruit tree canopy dry in blossom and pollination time, such as in a greenhouse, conservatory or lean-to. Although self-fertile, using a dry small artist's paintbrush to brush pollen from flower to flower will hugely increase fruit set too. This will massively reduce the curse of Peach Leaf Curl too. Patio Peach 'Crimson (R) Bonfire' really is a delightful little tree, for years and years of enjoyment.
'Azura' is an excellent new selection of the ever-popular Eucalyptus tree and is especially suitable for British gardens. It is a much more compact and bushy form than the typical fast-growing Eucalyptus trees that we are more familiar with, and is also much hardier - reportedly surviving through winter down to -20°C. This new compact form and cold-hardiness make it a great specimen plant for even the most inexperienced of gardeners, and to top that, as the name suggests, it has an amazing azure blue-grey leaf coloration all year round. Of course, like all Eucalyptus, 'Azura' also has a uniquely gorgeous fresh fragrance, which makes it an ideal and long-lasting plant for cut foliage for bouquets and arrangements too. Growing best in full sun or light shade, this Eucalyptus works well in larger pots, when trimmed twice a year, or when grown as a specimen in lawns and borders. You can even form a hedge with it, as in all these situations you get good all-round leaf colour. Supplied as an established plant in a 13cm pot, ready for immediate planting.

Scilla campanulata Blue, better known as the Spanish bluebell, is a long-standing favourite that will strike a cheerful note in your garden in spring. It produces clumps of lavender-blue, bell-shaped flowers, each with a centre of pretty blue anthers and a darker hue to the petal spines. Flowers grow around the whole stems, which are tubular and upright. Blooming in April and into May, these hardy bulbs can create an enchanting carpet of nodding blue flowers when naturalised in drifts through grassy or wooded areas. They are equally effective as underplanting for hedges or shrubs, or for adding interest to borders before summer interest appears. Scilla campanulata Blue is also ideal for growing in containers and makes a beautiful cut flower. Fully hardy, resilient and easy to grow, the bulbs form clumps with a height and spread of up to 45cm. By early to mid-summer, the foliage dies back and the plants lie dormant through autumn and winter, re-emerging the following spring in ever-greater numbers. The clumps produce small offsets, which can be divided and replanted in the summer to encourage a wider spread or for populating new areas. Best planted in groups, combine your Scilla campanulata Blue with bright yellow daffodils for a wonderful contrast. Supplied as a pack of 20 bulbs, size 6/7 ready for planting in autumn.
This Astilbe japonica will certainly create an eye-catching display in your garden. The 'Washington' has beautiful pure white spiked blooms that appear during the middle of summer and stand tall above shiny dark green foliage. They make excellent cut flowers but once faded, the old brown flower-heads provide winter interest. Extremely fragrant, they are very attractive to bees and butterflies. Perfect for traditional cottage gardens, water gardens and cut flower gardens, they really are a versatile choice. They are a long-lived hardy perennial which will thrive in both full sun and shaded corners, but don't let the soil dry out, keep them well-watered. Supplied as 3 x established plants in 9cm pots, ready to plant out.

Wow!... Just wow!! You really can't get a more striking plant for your late winter and spring garden - and we're so excited to be able to bring it to you! This new introduction is absolutely exquisite with its gorgeous pink fluffy catkins which just beg to be stroked as you walk past the bush. The fuzzy bunny tails burst from the tight maroon buds as the temperature warms in early spring, bringing a splash of vibrant colour to your garden, with the promise of warmer weather to come. When grown as a hedge or as coppices, the new young growth is luminous with fire when the catkins break - it's really a sight to behold Perfect for a winter garden, the pussy-willow catkins start to appear from late winter and last well into the spring, and the stems are truly impressive when cut and brought into the house for an early flower display. In fact, this variety was bred for the cut-flower market, by a cut-flower arranger, so you know that the stems will make a great visual impact. As the season progresses, the tiny pink powder puffs gradually turn golden as the pollen emerges, bringing a subtle shift of colour to the whole bush, before the blue-green leaves emerge and form a magnificent backdrop to other plants and flowers in the garden. Not just a pretty face, 'Mount Aso' is also known for its abilty to tolerate pollution, salt sea air and damp areas - a truly versatile and useful plant! We supply an established plant in a 3L pot, with an ultimate height and spread of approx. 2m x 2m, but can be restricted by pruning.
One of the nation's favourite early spring plants, Camellias are, when given the right conditions, very straightforward and problem free. Providing fabulous displays of flowers when almost every other plant is still asleep for winter, they're ideal for giving a bold splash of colour when the garden is quite drab - plus they're fabulous in pots where they can be moved to any part of your garden. The key to success with Camellias is they need acidic soils - like Rhododendrons. This means they can easily be grown in pots in ericaceous composts, and provided they are fed with specialist ericaceous feed, will provide many years of colour and interest. They are evergreen, and their neat, shiny tough leaves will provide a backdrop to other plants all year. Flower buds start swelling late the previous summer, and keep getting bigger all autumn and winter, until they burst open in early spring. The flowers can be caught by frosts when they are opening, but the buds are generally fine, and the plant is 100% hardy and tough. Supplied as one pink-flowered plant, 20-40cm tall and in bud.
With its opulent foliage colour, leaves emerge a rich orange-red, before they mature to burgundy, creating a stunning show which ends in autumn as the leaves turn red and purple before falling in an extravagant cascade of colour. The show isn't restricted to the leaves however, as 'Little Angel' is shrub with exceptional year-round interest. In early summer, dense clusters of creamy, pink-tinged flowers form neat balls of bloom and these are followed in autumn by burgundy fruit pods which extend the colour in your garden right up to leaf-fall! A compact shrub, bred to perform in your garden, Physocarpus Little Angel is a garden plant that very few other gardeners will have, and its colour changing nature makes this a garden must-have and certainly a plant that you'll want to give pride of place to so that everyone can see it! The unique foliage will form the perfect backdrop for your other garden plants and goes especially well with blues and purples. Supplied as 3 x established plants in 9cm pots, ready for planting out or potting on, Physocarpus Little Angel Ninebark will reach around 1m in 10 years and is really easy to grow - the perfect garden plant for any level of experience!
A reliable, heavy-bearing variety of cobnut, Webbs produces large clusters of gorgeously sweet nuts - a good tree can produce 18kg (40lb) of cobbs - perfect for eating fresh or allowing to ripen fully. A fairly new introduction, Webbs Cobnut is an improvement on the old favourite Kentish Cobb with slightly longer nuts and a short husk, and with its showy spring catkins, superb golden-yellow autumn leaves and warm-brown nuts, it's a really first-class addition to your garden. Cobnuts are slightly different to hazelnuts in that the cobnut has a short husk (the leafy casing to the nut), whereas the husk of the hazelnut is long and covers the nut, and the Cobnuts are ready to pick before the leaves change colour, around September. The brown cobnuts will be nestled in a lighter green husk and the time to harvest is when those husks turn yellow - before the squirrels can beat you to the crop! Easy to grow and care for, Webb's Cobnut tolerates most soils, as long as they're not waterlogged, and performs particularly well in poor, well-drained sandy loams. Plant this tree in a sheltered location, in full sun or dappled shade. where this tough and robust cultivar will tolerate both cold and wet conditions - a good choice for northern gardens!Cobnuts are partially self-fertile, but best grown in groups for a larger crop so why not consider a cobnut hedge as un unusual, colourful and highly productive feature. Supplied as a well-established young tree in a 3L pot.
Now, through using the right varieties, you can grow fresh Nectarines here in the UK too. 'Flavour Top' is a large frutiing variety and slow growing, suited to smaller gardens and large pots, it will only reach 7-8ft in 10 years or so. We suggest growing in a pot, as it can be moved indoors in Spring to avoid peach leaf-curl by keeping the foliage dry, and also you can then let it develop over the Summer where the fruits can be seen and easily picked too. It is self-fertile, and a heavy cropper - producing fruit in the first two or three years, with bigger crops in years 5 onwards. Some people report such heavy crops they need to thin the fruitlets down! It produces classic red fruits, very juicy, that easily leave the stone when eaten. Nectarine 'Flavour Top' really is hard to fault.
Magnolias are a traditional sign that spring has arrived each and every year, with their beautiful huge buds bursting into colour early in the season. Most Magnolia are pink or shades thereof, so this rare and fabulously unique hybrid 'Yellow Bird' really is unusual. Magnolia 'Yellow Bird' bears the most wonderful huge lemon-yellow flowers, sometimes streaked lime green, emerging just before the deep green leaves unfurl in the spring.Easy to grow, it's hardy to -15°C (although best to avoid windy sites) and with just a little prune to shape will form a nice, low maintenance, medium sized specimen garden tree. Not just a plant for the garden, you can also plant up in a large patio container and place by a doorway, gateway or pathway where it will make a superb eye-catching feature, or on a patio where you can really enjoy the beauty. Supplied as an established plant in a 3L pot, ready for immediate planting.
A totally new colour of the much loved 'Butterfly Bush'! This intoxicatingly fragrant beauty is incredibly easy to grow, totally hardy and will illuminate any sunny corner of your garden. When in bloom during the early summer , its arching panicles will attract masses of butterflies and friendly pollinators, offering a safe haven for them to feast on nectar and collect pollen. This is a different species to the more familiar blue buddleias and flowers on one year old wood, - it should be pruned to shape after flowering allowing new growth to appear in late summer. This is the growth that will bear blooms the following year. Eventual height and spread 3-4m but can be restricted by pruning.
