Sorbaria sorbifolia 'Sem' can be planted in borders or in large planters on roof top gardens, courtyards, decking etc. Spiraea sorbifolia has fern like yellow-green foliage and clusters of feathery white flowers in summer, and in autumn the leaves turn burgundy red.
