These works were inspired by the view out the window towards the Alpilles Mountains while Van Gogh was in the St-Rémy mental asylum, near Arles. We have carefully selected the perfect combination of Morning Roses, sweet-smellng Freesias, and wheat to represent the warm colours of the dense wheat field. We chose Thlaspi for the olive trees in the distance and darker green Pistacia to represent the Provençal Cypress that towers above the rest. The blue mountains and swirling skies, which feature in many of van Gogh's fine works are symbolised by the addition of blue Agapanthus. Our florists have created a stunning bouquet in memory of Kate Guthrie. We've included Pink Germinis, Cerise Germinis, Blue Iris, Gypsophila and Ruscus. Despite gruelling surgery and treatment, at no stage did she lose her beautiful smile and the ability to make people laugh. Since Kate’s death in 1994 her family have worked alongside Cancer Research UK to find out why sarcomas occur. Over the past seven years nine sarcoma projects have been completed. Kate’s friends and family have given out gerbera flowers in her memory and collected over £549,000 in donations. 25% of the profits from this item goes to Cancer Research UK to help fund research into Sarcomas. Sarcomas are cancers that either develop in soft tissue or in bones. Our scientists are working hard to find new ways of beating Sarcomas.

This oil on canvas painting is most alluring thanks to its simplicity. The sitter was engaged to Casanova during the time this portrait was created. However, she later married another, more reputable suitor instead. We have selected peach Avalanche Roses to represent the rose pinned to her dress as well as her perfect complexion. The Memory Lane Roses echo the wonderful shade and texture of her dress. Contrasting Bourvardia and Limonium act much like the shadows and highlights found throughout this painting while the copper ruscus represents the copper-like background of this painting.
