A tall growing variety with red leaf nodes and lovely mauve flowers followed by deliciously sweet pale golden-yellow, crisp pods. Best picked regularly before the peas swell in the pods, ideal steamed whole or added to stir fries. Mangetout Golden Sweet grows to 210cm (7ft) so needs support.

Sweet Horizon stood well in both the summer heatwave and autumn wet weather, producing an abundance of sweet, predominantly stringless pods through the season. Great mildew resistance gives the longest harvest window, with plants standing well until October. A dwarf habit make it ideal for container growing and small veg patches.
Early, dwarf plants produce masses of small stringless, tender and sweet 'eat all' peas. As the whole pod is eaten, there is virtually no waste. With a compact, dwarf habit, this variety is ideal for exposed or windy locations. Protect younger plants from birds with twigs or netting and provide support with pea sticks or netting for easier picking, especially in windy locations. Keep moist and weed free at all times. Shows good tolerance to disease, especially Fusarium oxysporum. If continuous crops are desirable regular picking is advisable.
