If you're looking for an eye-catching plant to add height and interest to your garden, then this hybrid foxglove will certainly add the 'wow factor' to your displays this summer. Foxgloves hold a special place in the hearts of many gardeners and this remarkable variety is rapidly becoming one of the garden-designers' darlings, with their stately spires cropping up in all of the latest contemporary gardens. Digitalis Foxglove 'Illumination Flame' is an absolutely stunning perennial, producing multiple spikes of tubular blooms that will, simply, take your breath away. The striking flame-coloured tubular flowers are lightly speckled and shimmer faintly when illuminated by the sun giving real impact to any garden. Produced in abundance from early June to October they're magnets to furry bumble bees and other beneficial pollinating insects! Plus, they have a naturally branching habit, which results in lots of flower spikes, makes these one of the showier varieties. Foxgloves thrive in full sun, or dappled shade, and are very easy to grow indeed, giving gardens a wild and naturalistic feel or a smart contemporary look depending on where you plant them. The popular cut flower and houseplant Gerbera has been upgraded to a garden perennial, giving an amazing 5 months of colour from spring to autumn every year. The world's first Hardy Gerbera in a range of bright, zingy colours, the 'Garvinea Series' was launched to great acclaim across Europe, where the Dutch breeders developed an improved plant with much bigger flowers, and even longer lasting performance. Winter hardy to around -8C (although avoid severe winter wet), and flowering for several seasons of colour, the highly distinctive flowers of Garvinea simply keep coming - up to 50 on a 2-year-old plant. Easy to grow and keep, they're also highly resistant to pests and diseases, making them the ideal garden plant! Raspberry Long-Cane
  • £19.99

Long Cane Raspberries are your opportunity to benefit from a massive breakthrough in Raspberry fruit production! Raspberries usually produce their fruit on the previous year's growth of canes. However, they are often sold in garden centres cut back as short canes - great value, but you have to wait an extra year for fruit. Now, with Long Canes you will get fruit in the first season, because they have not been cut back - they are harvested at about 1m or taller and will fruit this summer. A great garden variety, not too vigorous, yet fruiting early to mid-season in July and August and producing good bright red sweet fruits. You will get around a pound of fruit or more per cane for 4-5 years. These raspberries will fruit on the full length of the canes you receive so do not prune them down when you plant them! If space is at a premium, grow them in large pots in a wigwam form it will look great and also produce massive amounts or fruit in the minimum of space! Otherwise, plant in rows about 60cm (2ft) apart, using supporting wires for easier fruit picking. Take advantage of new Long Cane Raspberry production techniques for bigger and quicker crops.  Supplied as Long-Canes, approx. 85-100cm tall which means you will get fruit this year!
